Family run Little Britain in Capellen stocked British, Irish and American produce--everything from marmite and Cadburys chocolates to Weight Watchers meals and a huge range of teas. The spot also featured a tea room and British bistro, plus a range of English language publications.

A post dated Tuesday on its Facebook page read: “It is with great sadness and regret that Little Britain will be closing its doors for the last time on Thursday the 30th of June 2016 and the cafe on Saturday the 28th of May 2016. The owners and staff would like to thank all of our loyal customers for your support and friendship over the years.”

As of this writing, the shop had not returned Delano’s message requesting comment.
