CFL Multimodal integrates a first hydrogen truck into its fleet, supplied by Hyliko, to make its logistics operations more environmentally friendly.

After electricity, it’s time for hydrogen. CFL Multimodal is continuing to decarbonise its logistics operations with the arrival on its premises of a brand new hydrogen-powered truck: the HY T44 4x2. Announced last week on Linkedin, this acquisition marks a new stage in the group’s energy transition.

Since November 2024, . With this new hydrogen truck supplied by Hyliko, a French specialist in zero-emission solutions, the Luxembourg group is extending its range of ways of greening its fleet.

“We are delighted to announce the arrival of Hyliko’s hydrogen truck at our premises!” commented CFL Multimodal. “This is a major step towards transforming green hydrogen into a viable, high-performance alternative in the transport sector.” The first full-scale tests will be carried out by CFL Logistics, the group’s subsidiary, on complete journeys of up to 44 tonnes.

“This initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to offering sustainable solutions, including decarbonising the first and last mile of our customers’ transport chain, ,” the company notes.
