This year, Bamolux is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1976 and based in Foetz, this Luxembourg-based family business has built its reputation on traditional craftsmanship, a tradition it continues to uphold today. Nearly 70 employees are now involved in its interior design and joinery activities. For half a century, the company claims to have grown “without losing what defines its identity: strong craftsmanship, a passion for a job well done, precision in execution and the passing on of skills”.

On behalf of the chief executive, Sébastien Jungen, this anniversary is, above all, a tribute to our teams: “This anniversary is, first and foremost, a celebration of the employees who have built Bamolux, both past and present. Their expertise, their loyalty and their pride in what they have achieved are at the heart of our history.”

Roles that evolve alongside projects

Over the years, Bamolux has expanded its areas of expertise to support increasingly complex projects. The company now specialises in interior joinery, drywall finishing, thermal and acoustic insulation, painting, decorative cladding and bespoke furniture. From technical design to workshop production and on-site installation, the teams handle the entire process. The company emphasises an approach where ‘nothing is left to chance’ and where ‘every detail counts’, a standard it describes as ‘the Bamolux signature’.

A commitment that goes beyond the construction site

Bamolux, which has been B Corp certified since 2023, is one of a number of Luxembourg-based companies that have integrated social, societal and environmental responsibility into their operations. The company encourages the use of local, sustainable or low-impact materials and is continuing to transform its vehicle fleet. According to figures from the press release issued on the occasion, CO₂ emissions emissions related to transport fell by 45.4% between 2021 and 2024, despite an increase in the number of kilometres travelled. Bamolux also supports several projects in Luxembourg, Togo, Benin and Morocco, particularly in the areas of reforestation, pollination and access to education.

Preparing for the next 50 years

The company is looking to the future against a backdrop of energy challenges, sustainable materials, traceability and the passing on of expertise. Bamolux plans to continue digitising its organisation, develop more sustainable solutions and strengthen its responsible procurement practices. Sébastien Jungen sums up this ambition in a single sentence: “My wish for the next 50 years is simple: that everyone feels safe and happy to come to work and do their job with passion.”
