William Jones founded his corporate governance practice in 2006 to promote high-quality governance in the investment funds industry. With over 29 years of experience, he has held senior roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Bank of Bermuda/HSBC. He currently serves as a director for UCITS, AIFs, and SPVs in Luxembourg, the Cayman Islands, and beyond.
William holds an MBA and JD from Columbia University and is a Princeton graduate. He completed INSEAD’s International Directors Program in 2011, later serving as its first President. He was on the ILA board (2016–2020) and contributed to several major fund governance publications. A US national, he speaks English, Spanish, French, and Italian, and has lived in Luxembourg since 2008.
