Yves Reginster is an agricultural engineer who worked for 20 years in forestry and environmental management, using geographic information systems. But his career then turned to selling software at SUN Microsystems and Oracle.
He noticed how difficult it was for users to master all these mechanisms, to ensure that their licences were compliant and ultimately to optimise their software. It was this observation that led him to embark on Software Asset Management consultancy, a discipline for which he has been certified and which aims to reduce the risks and costs associated with using software.
Consulting requires total independence from software publishers in order to provide advice on optimising software lifecycle management.

Yves Reginster est ingénieur agronome et a travaillé durant 30 ans dans le domaine de la gestion forestière et environnementale, utilisant des systèmes d'informations géographiques.

Après 20 ans dans les technologies de l'information et le Software Asset Management, il se concentre actuellement sur la gestion forestière et le conseil dans la gestion de biens fonciers (gestion des fermages, expertise, gestion des loyers).
