Franck Bedell is the Head of Information Security at Baloise Luxembourg, a position he has held for the past six years. Franck began his career as an IT technician in a work-study program, then progressed to roles as a technician, helpdesk, and system analyst. He later moved to Luxembourg as a Microsoft consultant and VMware virtualization specialist, before becoming a team leader. He then transitioned to the role of Risk Manager in a wealth management company before taking on the position of Chief Information Security Officer in 2020.

Member of the ACA since 2022, he promotes information security in the insurance sector. In 2023, Franck was named CISO of the Year by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC), a prestigious recognition that highlights his commitment and expertise in cybersecurity. This title is a validation of his skills and dedication, that reinforces his position as a cybersecurity leader. Franck uses this platform to share his vision and experience, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of information security in Luxembourg, in the insurance sector and beyond.
