After joining Patrick Drahi’s team of consultants (CEO of the Altice Group), Pierre Michea founded his own financial consulting firm, 7DConsulting. Over the years, he specialized in financing the technical industries of film and television. He has collaborated with leading companies in digital cinema projection, including DOREMI TECHNOLOGIES, the world leader in servers for commercial movie theaters. In 2011, DOREMI became a shareholder of 7th Degree Consulting. Following DOREMI’s acquisition by Dolby Cinema (a global leader in digital technology), 7th Degree Consulting strengthened its presence in the sector and positioned itself as a boutique investment bank involved in innovation financing, corporate finance, and private equity for players in digital technologies. As Secretary General of the 3D Alliance consortium, Pierre Michea helped unite and energize European companies in the sound and image sector by connecting them with local partners in Asia, India, Brazil, and North America. Since 2019, Pierre Michea has been developing Mediafinance, a service offering specialized in intellectual property and investment structuring for digital and entertainment companies (Film, Music, TV, VR/AR). He is also an independent board member of several Soparfi funds and alternative funds in the entertainment sector.

En 2011, DOREMI est devenu actionnaire de 7th Degree Consulting. Suite au rachat de DOREMI par Dolby Cinema (leader mondial du numérique), 7th Degree Consulting a renforcé sa présence dans le secteur et s'est positionné comme une petite banque d'investissement intervenant dans le financement de l'innovation, la finance d'entreprise et le capital-investissement pour les acteurs des technologies numériques. Élu secrétaire général du consortium 3D Alliance, Pierre Michea a fédéré et dynamisé les entreprises européennes du secteur du son et de l'image en les mettant en relation avec des partenaires locaux en Asie, en Inde, au Brésil et en Amérique du Nord. Depuis 2019, Pierre Michea développe l'offre Mediafinance, spécialisée dans la propriété intellectuelle et la structuration d'investissements pour les entreprises du numérique et de l'entertainment (Cinéma, Musique, TV, VR/AR). 
Il est également administrateur indépendant de plusieurs fonds Soparfi et fonds alternatifs du secteur du divertissement.
