Pablo Calla is from Bolivia. He is an electronics engineer with a master in Control Systems which moved his career towards the Space domain by being involved in a satellite project between his country and China.
 
Then, this move was consolidated with an Msc in Space Studies from ISU (International Space University) in Strasbourg, where he was also able to pleasantly meet his today colleagues and co-founders. They decided to create Maana Electric in Luxembourg.
 
At Maana Electric, he is fulfilling the functions of a CTO, managing the engineering and research team towards the development of diverse and unique material processes in line with the ISRU (In-Situ resource Utilization) principles which are heritage from the space ecosystem. They are adapting the same principles to spin off space applications for direct use in “Terrestrial” applications. It’s considered the “new space’ domain, as the traditional space is focused on satellites.
