Philippe Ocvirk is an Industrial Property Attorney (Luxembourg and France), a European Patent Attorney and a Partner of the Freylinger Office. He is also a representative before the new Unified Patent Jurisdiction.

He has over 25 years' experience of drafting and defending patent applications at European and international level in the fields of metallurgy, automotive, measuring devices, medical devices, medical imaging, software and semiconductors.

He also acts in opposition proceedings before the EPO and in infringement cases.

Phillippe Ocvirk teaches in engineering schools and at the Nancy Law Faculty (M2). He is co-author of the Luxembourg chapter of the Kluwer Manual on Intellectual Property and a member of the scientific committee of the Luxembourg IP and digital journal PIN CODE.

Philippe Ocvirk ist Patentanwalt (Luxemburg und Frankreich), zugelassener Vertreter vor dem Europäischen Patentamt und Partner des Freylinger Office. Er ist außerdem Vertreter vor dem neuen Einheitlichen Patentgericht (Unified Patent Court).

Er verfügt über mehr als 25 Jahre Erfahrung in der Ausarbeitung und Verteidigung von Patentanmeldungen auf europäischer und internationaler Ebene in den Bereichen Metallurgie, Automobilindustrie, Messgeräte, medizinische Geräte, medizinische Bildgebung, Software und Halbleiter.

Er ist auch in Einspruchsverfahren vor dem EPA und bei Patentverletzungen tätig.

Phillippe Ocvirk bietet Schulungen an Ingenieurschulen und an der Rechtsfakultät von Nancy (M2) an. Er ist Mitautor des luxemburgischen Kapitels des Kluwer Manual on Intellectual Property und Mitglied des wissenschaftlichen Ausschusses der luxemburgischen Zeitschrift PI et numérique PIN CODE.

Philippe Ocvirk est Conseil en propriété industrielle (Luxembourg et France), Mandataire agréé auprès de l’Office européen des brevets et Partner de l’Office Freylinger. Il est également Représentant devant la nouvelle Juridiction Unifiée du Brevet.
 
Il bénéfice d’une expérience de plus de 25 ans en matière de rédaction et défense de demandes de brevet, au niveau européen et international, dans les domaines de la métallurgie, automobile, dispositifs de mesure, dispositifs médicaux, imagerie médicale, logiciel, semi-conducteurs.
 
Il intervient également dans les procédures d’opposition à l’OEB et en matière de contrefaçon.
 
Phillippe Ocvirk dispense des formations en écoles d’ingénieurs et à la Faculté de droit de Nancy (M2). Il est co-auteur du chapitre luxembourgeois du Kluwer Manual on Intellectual Property et membre du comité scientifique de la revue luxembourgeoise PI et numérique PIN CODE.
