Adrien Pierre is a peer-recognized key lawyer in laws and regulations applicable to the financial services industry, including prudential supervision requirements. He advises banks, investment firms, asset managers, payment and e-money institutions, fintechs, and other financial institutions, whether established entities or those planning to provide regulated services.

His work includes licensing, registration and authorization requests, and regulatory compliance under frameworks such as CRD/CRR, MiFID, PSD/EMD, EMIR, SFTR, MiCAR, and AML/CFT rules. Adrien also assists with M&A transactions involving regulated entities, including regulatory due diligence and notifications to authorities, as well as governance matters. He also advises on foreign direct investment notifications and screening procedures.

Adrien provides guidance on financial technologies and crypto-related matters, including licensing applications for fintech companies, and AML advice for businesses operating in the crypto asset space. With prior experience in financial transactions and as in-house counsel at one of Luxembourg’s largest banks, Adrien understands the regulatory complexity of the Luxembourg financial sector and translates it into practical solutions for clients.
