Marie Bourlond joined Luxembourg in 1993 as a trainee at the European Commission, and has lived here ever since.

She began her professional career in the financial sector with Brown Brother Harriman as a fund accountant in 1994.

Marie Bourlond has been BIL Group's Chief Compliance Officer since 2012, having previously held a number of positions within the same group with a focus on internal controls (Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management, Business Risk Management within Wealth Management, etc.).

She has also been co-president of ALCO (Association Luxembourgeoise des Compliance Officers) for 6 years, and a member of its Board of Directors for 11 years.

Marie Bourlond a rejoint le Luxembourg en 1993 en tant que stagiaire au sein de la Commission Européenne, et y réside depuis lors sans jamais l’avoir quitté.

Elle a débuté sa carrière professionnelle dans le secteur financier auprès de Brown Brother Harriman comme comptable de fonds en 1994.

Marie Bourlond kam 1993 als Praktikantin bei der Europäischen Kommission nach Luxemburg und lebt seither dort, ohne es je verlassen zu haben.

Zuvor hatte sie verschiedene Positionen innerhalb der BIL-Gruppe inne, wobei ihr Hauptaugenmerk auf dem internen Kontrollsystem lag (Interne Revision, Operational Risk Management, Business Risk Management innerhalb des Wealth Management,...).

Sie ist außerdem seit 6 Jahren Co-Präsidentin der ALCO (Association Luxembourgeoise des Compliance Officers) und seit 11 Jahren Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats.
