After obtaining his baccalauréat, Guy Thill began a career in taxation with the Administration des Contributions Directes et des Accises, where he worked until January 1980. He then joined the Medical Department of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, where he worked from February 1980 to March 1998.

In April 1998, he joined the ZithaKlinik as Head of Finance, before becoming Finance and Administration Director in July 2001, a position he held until December 2013.

Throughout his career, he has strengthened his expertise through inter-university training in hospital information processing, obtained in December 2004 from the Catholic University of Louvain and the Free University of Brussels.

Committed to the community sector, Guy Thill has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Hëllef Doheem Foundation since April 2014, and its Chairman since July 1, 2023.

Après l'obtention de son baccalauréat, Guy Thill a entamé une carrière dans le domaine fiscal au sein de l’Administration des Contributions Directes et des Accises, où il a travaillé jusqu’en janvier 1980. Il a ensuite rejoint la Direction Médicale du Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, où il a exercé de février 1980 à mars 1998.

En avril 1998, il a intégré la ZithaKlinik en tant que Responsable du service Finances, avant de devenir Directeur Administratif et Financier en juillet 2001, poste qu’il a occupé jusqu’en décembre 2013.

Tout au long de sa carrière, il a renforcé son expertise grâce à une formation interuniversitaire en traitement de l’information hospitalière, obtenue en décembre 2004 auprès de l’Université catholique de Louvain et de l’Université libre de Bruxelles.

Engagé dans le secteur associatif, Guy Thill est membre du Conseil d’Administration de la Fondation Hëllef Doheem depuis avril 2014 et en assume la présidence depuis le 1er juillet 2023.

Nach seinem Abitur begann Guy Thill eine Karriere im Steuerbereich bei der Administration des Contributions Directes et des Accises, wo er bis Januar 1980 tätig war. Anschließend wechselte er zur medizinischen Direktion des Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, wo er von Februar 1980 bis März 1998 tätig war.

Im April 1998 trat er als Leiter der Finanzabteilung in die ZithaKlinik ein, bevor er im Juli 2001 zum Direktor für Verwaltung und Finanzen ernannt wurde, eine Position, die er bis Dezember 2013 innehatte.

Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat er seine Fachkenntnisse durch eine interuniversitäre Ausbildung in Krankenhausinformationsverarbeitung erweitert, die er im Dezember 2004 an der Katholischen Universität Löwen und der Freien Universität Brüssel absolviert hat.

Guy Thill engagiert sich im gemeinnützigen Sektor und ist seit April 2014 Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats der Stiftung Hëllef Doheem, deren Vorsitz er seit dem 1. Juli 2023 innehat.
