Alexander Flassak has been Chief Executive Officer of lux-Airport since 2022. He joined lux-Airport in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Real Estate Development. Before that, he worked for Ernst & Young in Frankfurt and Luxembourg for nine years. Alexander Flassak earned four university degrees and took up a visiting professorship in the finance department in Mainz in 2012. The author of textbooks in the areas of supplementary accounting and risk management was named "CFO of the Year" in 2016. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Airport-Energy, a company 50 percent owned by lux-Airport.
