Aditya Mittal is chief executive officer of ArcelorMittal since February 2021. Following the formation of ArcelorMittal in 2006, Aditya held various senior leadership roles, including managerial oversight of the Group’s flat carbon steel businesses in the Americas and Europe, in addition to his role as CFO and membership of the Group Management Board.
He is an active philanthropist with a particular interest in child health. He is a significant supporter of the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London.
Mr. Mittal serves on the boards of ArcelorMittal, Aperam, HMEL and Iconiq Capital, and is the Chairman of the Board of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India. He is also a Trustee at the Brookings Institution and an alumni of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leader’s Programme.
Mr. Mittal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with concentrations in Strategic Management and Corporate Finance from the Wharton School in Pennsylvania, United States.
