Began his career in the banking sector (BACOB, 1994-1995) before joining the real estate sector at Intermarché where he contributed to the expansion of the brand in Wallonia (1995-1996). In 1997, he joined Jones Lang LaSalle where he was Head of the Office Agency Department for Belgium (1997-2005) before becoming Managing Director of the Luxembourg offices of the group (2005-2011). In 2010, he combined this function with that of Head of Capital Markets for Belux. He left JLL in late 2011 to join ALLFIN (ALLFIN and Immobel merged in 2016 and operate now under the name Immobel) as Managing Director Immobel of the  Luxembourg and Germany entities. He owns a degree in Applied Economics (ULG, 1988-1992) and an MBA (ULG & Maastricht University, 1993-1994).

Olivier Bastin entama sa carrière dans le secteur bancaire (BACOB, 1994-1995) avant de s'orienter vers l'immobilier chez Intermarché où il contribua à l'expansion de l'enseigne en Wallonie (1995-1996). En 1997, il rejoint Jones Lang LaSalle où il prendra la tête du département Office agency pour la Belgique (1997-2005) avant de devenir Managing Director de l'implantation luxembourgeoise du groupe (2005-2011). En 2010, il cumulera cette fonction avec celle de Head of Capital Markets pour le Belux. Il a quitté JLL fin 2011 pour rejoindre IMMOBEL en tant que CEO de l'entité luxembourgeoise. Depuis 2018, il est également en charge de l’entrée et de l’expansion d’IMMOBEL sur le marché allemand. Il est titulaire d'un diplôme d'économie appliquée (ULG, 1988-1992) et d'un MBA (ULG & Université de Maastricht, 1993-1994).
