Michael Hornsby is EY's EMEIA Real Estate Funds Leader specialized in international real estate and private equity structures. Michael has 27 years of experience in audit and business advisory including the design operations and governance structures of a broad range of international collective investment vehicles and has played a leading role in the development of the financial frameworks of such funds including NAV methodologies, accounting standards, valuation methodologies and performance measures through his role at ALFI and INREV. He is also a qualified member of the RICS, as well as of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales and Luxembourg's Institute of Auditors. In addition, he is co-chairing ALFI's Real Estate Funds Sub-Committee and has been appointed by INREV as member of their Management Board in April 2015.
