Thierry Grosjean has an unusual professional background in the Luxembourg financial center. Holder of a master's degree in law in France and after 8 years within a fiduciary, in 2008 he became Managing Director and then CEO of Centuria Capital Luxembourg. Since September 1, 2018, he has been the new Conducting Officer of Japan Fund Management Luxembourg, specifically in charge of the Compliance function and Risk supervision. Then aged 46, he was elected President of Alco in 2015, with the main objective of promoting Luxembourg as one of the European leaders in Compliance and the fight against money laundering and financing of terrorism. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Alco for 13 years and remains very active on these themes which are dear to him.

Thierry Grosjean présente un parcours professionnel peu commun au sein de la place financière luxembourgeoise. Titulaire d'une maîtrise de droit en France et après 8 années au sein d'une fiduciaire, il devient en 2008 Administrateur-délégué puis CEO de Centuria Capital Luxembourg. Depuis le 1er septembre 2018 il est le nouveau Conducting Officer de Japan Fund Management Luxembourg spécialement en charge de la fonction Compliance et de la supervision du Risk.

Alors agé de 46 ans, il a été élu Président de l'Alco en 2015, avec pour objectif principal la promotion du Luxembourg comme l'un des leaders européens en matière de Compliance et de lutte contre le blanchiment d’argent et le financement du terrorisme. Il a été durant 13 années membre du Conseil d’Administration de l’Alco et reste très actif sur ces thématiques qui lui sont chères.
