Carsten Opitz is a Partner and head of the Corporate, M&A practice of Arendt. He specialises in corporate law, advising primarily large private equity, real estate funds and international companies, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, complex international corporate restructurings, corporate finance and transactional business law. He also advises regularly on corporate governance matters. He holds the German first and second state exam in law as well as a Master's degree in law (maîtrise en droit) from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (France). He is a member of Luxembourg and Düsseldorf Bar since 2004.
