A gendarmerie officer at the start of his career (1996), Christian Scharff joined BIL (2001) as Head of Business Partner and became HR Director (2003). He is active in the field of equal opportunities and was the founder of the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award (2007). That same year, he founded IMS Luxembourg, which brings together more than 250 Luxembourg organisations active in CSR (People, Planet, Prosperity). He contributes to the national 3rd industrial revolution project and chairs the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter. In 2022, the Sustainability Academy was launched and IMS became the national contact point for B Corp. A partner at PWC (2010-22) with consulting responsibilities (Europe/Asia), he has consolidated his expertise in Sustainability (CISL). An author (‘Upskill’, 2019), TEDx speaker and alumnus (Solvay, IMD, INSEAD, Cambridge), he now devotes his time to IMS and to his activities as an independent director.

Im selben Jahr gründete er IMS Luxembourg, einen Zusammenschluss von über 250 luxemburgischen Organisationen, die im Bereich CSR (People, Planet, Prosperity) aktiv sind. Er trägt zum nationalen Projekt der dritten industriellen Revolution bei und ist Vorsitzender der Charta der Vielfalt Lëtzebuerg. Im Jahr 2022 wird die Sustainability Academy ins Leben gerufen und IMS wird nationale Kontaktstelle für B Corp. Als Partner bei PWC (2010-22) mit Beratungsaufgaben (Europa/Asien) festigte er sein Fachwissen im Bereich Sustainability (CISL).
