Délia Nilles, who retired in July 2021, was a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Economics and the CREA Institute of Applied Macroeconomics in the HEC Faculty at the University of Lausanne. She has carried out numerous research projects on various aspects of the Swiss economy and managed the forecasting model for the Swiss economy. From 1996 to 2021, she was deputy director of the CREA Institute of Applied Economics at the University's HEC Faculty and a member representing Switzerland in the LINK/United Nations project, set up by the American economist Lawrence R. Klein (winner of the Nobel Prize in 1982). For 10 years she was a member of the scientific council of the Luxembourg National Research Fund, where she was rapporteur. Since November 2014, she has been a member of the Conseil national des finances publiques.

En retraite depuis juillet 2021, Délia Nilles a été Maître d'enseignement et de recherche au Département d’économie et à l'Institut CREA de macroéconomie appliquée à la Faculté des HEC de l'Université de Lausanne. Elle a réalisé de nombreuses recherches portant sur divers aspects de l'économie suisse et a géré le modèle de prévisions pour l'économie suisse. De 1996 à 2021, elle a été directrice adjointe à l'Institut CREA d'économie appliquée de la Faculté des HEC de l'Université et membre représentant la Suisse dans le projet LINK/Nations-Unies, mis sur pied par l'économiste américain Lawrence R. Klein (Prix Nobel en 1982). Pendant 10 ans elle était membre du conseil scientifique du Fonds national de la recherche luxembourgeois où elle était rapporteur. Depuis novembre 2014, elle est membre du Conseil national des finances publiques.

Délia Nilles ist seit Juli 2021 im Ruhestand. Sie war Lehr- und Forschungsbeauftragte am Departement für Wirtschaftswissenschaften und am CREA-Institut für angewandte Makroökonomie an der Fakultät für Wirtschaftshochschulen der Universität Lausanne. Sie führte zahlreiche Forschungsarbeiten zu verschiedenen Aspekten der Schweizer Wirtschaft durch und leitete das Prognosemodell für die Schweizer Wirtschaft. Von 1996 bis 2021 war sie stellvertretende Direktorin am CREA-Institut für angewandte Wirtschaft der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften der Universität und Mitglied, das die Schweiz im Projekt LINK/Vereinte Nationen vertrat, das vom amerikanischen Ökonomen Lawrence R. Klein (Nobelpreis 1982) ins Leben gerufen worden war. Zehn Jahre lang war sie Mitglied des wissenschaftlichen Rates des luxemburgischen Nationalfonds für Forschung, wo sie als Berichterstatterin fungierte. Seit November 2014 ist sie Mitglied des Nationalen Rates für öffentliche Finanzen.
