Gabriela’s experience spans across sectors and countries, as a Trusted Advisor for Boards, CEOs and their executive teams. She is specialised in corporate governance from a leadership perspective, international executive searches and leadership development work. 
Her track-record in executive search includes recruiting a multitude of non-executive and executive positions (Chairman of the Board, Independent Director, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chief People Officer, Head of Data Monetization, Partners in law firms etc.), working with top teams of financial firms and across various global fast-growing technology companies. 
Her expertise in search is completed by her activity as an advisor for international Boards, working on topics like Board Effectiveness, Crisis Management, Succession Planning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Sustainable Leadership (ESG). Her training on defining one’s unique value proposition as an independent director to find board mandates is recognized as a reference in Luxembourg and abroad.
Gabriela is the Vice-Chair of the Board Composition Committee of Luxembourg Institute of Governance, leading the Mentoring Task Force of the committee. She is also a Senior Advisor of the EMEA Board of Women in Payments, a global network for women working in the payments industry, and of Neobrain, an AI company in the HR sector. 
 
Gabriela started her career as a journalist in Romania, where she studied law and journalism. She also holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Sorbonne, France.
