Riccardo Lamanna is a senior vice president and the country head of State Street in Luxembourg. Appointed to lead the Luxembourg branch in August 2021, Riccardo is responsible for managing the branch in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, strategic and business objectives, risk appetite and values of SSBI GmbH. Riccardo joined State Street in May 2010 and prior to his current role, he was the head of Alpha Business Development for EMEA. Before that, he covered the country manager role in Italy and The Netherlands. Riccardo started his career at JP Morgan in 1991 to work in operations supporting the proprietary activity of the bank as well as custody and clearing services for thirdparty clients. He then moved to Banca IMI, the investment bank of Sanpaolo IMI, where he served as head of Back Office and Middle Office functions.
