Jazz performance by Shake Stew

The award-winning Austrian band Shake Stew is presenting their latest album, called “Lila.”

Founded in 2016, the jazz septet--composed of a trumpeter, two saxophonists, two bassists and two drummers--has received the “Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik” for the first quarter of 2020 and was ranked the #1 album of the year 2019 by Jazzthing magazine.

“It is live that their strengths are most revealed,” say the organisers. “Shake Stew creates powerful, danceable music, incredibly grounded, but which also invites flight and can rise to heights close to trance.”

The concert is organised with the support of the Austrian embassy in Luxembourg.
