Chinese New Year 2024

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at this Chinese New Year extravaganza, which will feature art and food stands, activities, a dragon dance and parade through the city centre.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg is organising, together with the Union Commerciale de la Ville de Luxembourg (UCVL) and the Galeries Lafayette Luxembourg, a Chinese New Years celebration on 27 January 2024.

There’s plenty on the programme: stands will sell dumplings, others will offer opportunities to try calligraphy or make Chinese lanterns; there will also be a traditional dragon dance and parade, as well as performances by a team of Chinese martial arts specialists.
