Dive deep into Luxembourg’s history as the rocks of the Pétrusse casemates “come to life” with a light show.

Luxembourg City’s casemates have been used for wine storage, growing mushrooms, shelters during the the first and second world wars and for various other reasons.

The Pétrusse casemates have recently reopened, with light installations that “bring history to life,” says the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO), which is organising the visits.

The “explorations” last 45 minutes. The Pétrusse casemates are open every day of the week--tickets can be purchased online or at the LCTO office in Place Guillaume II. (The entrance to the Pétrusse casemates is located at Place de la Constitution).

Prices for adults are €15, student and senior tickets cost €12, children aged 4-12 cost €7.50, and children younger than four years of age are free.
