This year’s edition of the blast furnace festival will feature artistic and musical performances, a giant zip line between blast furnaces, science experiments and more.

The Fonds Belval, which preserves and showcases the industrial heritage of Belval’s blast furnaces, is organising the Fête des Hauts Fourneaux on 1-2 July.

The festival will include artistic performances, educational activities and games for children (such as navigating remote-controlled boats), musical concerts, a giant zip line between the furnaces, a photography exhibition, visits of the blast furnaces, science experiments and more.

A dance and fire show specially created for the Fête des Hauts Fourneaux will take place on Saturday at 22:30.

Most activities are free; the zip line costs €5 per person and requires reservations.

The festival will take place on 1 July from 16:00 to 1:00, and on 2 July from 10:00 to 19:00. Find more information .
