A project by the Mondercange commune and in the framework of Esch2022 will see a pop-up village set up featuring events such film screenings, exhibitions and concerts.

Cultural agency Twist and Tweak is supporting the Luxembourg commune in the carrying out the project. The project spans from 19 March to 21 September but its flagship event "The Pop-up village” will take place from 27 August to 21 September in the cultural centre Beim Nëssert in Bergem. “By including associations and people we hope that people will feel inspired and that sports clubs, schools, day cares can also benefit from it and for the events to be a starting point rather than a one-off event,” says Vincent Peffer, from the cultural department of Mondercange.
