Being at the helm alone doesn’t mean running a business alone. Whether they’re experts, artists, or consultants, solopreneurs develop business models where autonomy, expertise, and agility become true entrepreneurial strengths.
On the Paperjam 10x6 stage, Steven Boulot (Rétromobile),
Antoine Lesch (Are We Friends?),
Kathlyn-Clair F. Wohl (Infiiorata),
Adrien Denoyelle (Lux Auction),
Christian Pearson (Sumo!),
Türkan Dagli (Dagli Atelier d'architecture), Laurren Prieur (Fenêtre sur Cour), Elmira Najafi (Librairie Alinéa), Aurore Jurga (Cabinet de Psychologie Aurore Jurga) et
Jacques Piroux (Act Today) shared their stories in exactly six minutes. Ten personal accounts reflecting on the transition to self-employment, the risks taken, the challenges faced, as well as the freedom and opportunities offered by choosing a different path to entrepreneurship.
Beyond the success stories, this edition shed light on the very real challenges of being a solopreneur: finding your first clients, building your reputation, managing uncertainty, growing your business, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and learning to take on the many roles of a business leader all by yourself. And, above all, persevering again and again and again.
The Paperjam Club would like to extend its warmest thanks to the ten speakers, as well as Foyer Assurances and the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg, the partners of this year’s event, for their support, and all the participants for attending and sharing their insights.
