On 22 October 2024, André Losch Fondation celebrates its 15th anniversary. This symbolic milestone is an opportunity to look back on the road we have travelled and look to the future.

15 years of commitment to young people in Luxembourg

Since it was set up in 2009 by entrepreneur André Losch, the foundation’s mission has been to offer children and young people in Luxembourg a better future by contributing to a more inclusive and supportive society. It targets vulnerable young people as well as those with more conventional backgrounds, by funding projects with a concrete and lasting impact. is unique in that it is a shareholder foundation holding 100% of the shares in the Losch Luxembourg Group, the annual income from which is used to fund philanthropic projects. In 15 years, the foundation has financed more than 140 charity projects in Luxembourg to the tune of around €15m.

Building together for the future of our young people

The future of our society depends on our ability to offer every child and every young person the opportunity to fulfil their ambitions and develop their skills. To achieve this, the foundation has chosen to act in three areas: education, health and social inclusion.

In the field of education, the foundation supports projects that encourage young people to think critically and take the initiative by learning about science, sustainable development and global citizenship. The projects supported encourage new and inclusive teaching approaches that help to reduce inequalities and provide keys to reading as a citizen.

In the field of healthcare, the foundation supports initiatives to help children and young people affected by illness or disability, as well as their families, by making their daily lives easier, improving care and optimising treatment.

Lastly, in the area of social inclusion, the foundation supports the most vulnerable young people in accessing employment, housing and entrepreneurship to enable them to participate fully in the life of the country.

Doing business together

These 15 years have shown that a concrete and lasting impact can only be achieved through long-term collaborations with our partners. Supporting projects over the long term and establishing a complementary relationship with project leaders is essential. This approach enables us to implement ambitious and innovative projects that meet the real needs of young people.

Building a future together

These 15 years have shown that the challenges facing children and young people are constantly evolving in a rapidly changing world facing numerous crises. Our young people are facing unprecedented challenges. It is therefore imperative that we continue to be bold in finding sustainable solutions.

For the next 15 years and beyond, let’s continue to work together to offer every child and young person in Luxembourg a future of hope.
