Dirk Arweiler, Tim Wottge and Christian Zanter have taken over the reins of Drees & Sommer Luxembourg as of 1 July 2024, succeeding Heiko Butter and Lothar Diederich.

Drees & Sommer Luxembourg, a consultancy and project management firm specialising in real estate, infrastructure and industry, announced a significant change in its management on 4 July.

Over the past decade, the company has been led by three managers: , and . In preparation for the generational change, Butter and Diederich stepped down as managers of the Luxembourg office on 30 June. However, they will continue to play key roles within the group. Ast will continue to steer the company’s strategy as managing partner and associate partner.

The new management team, which took office on 1 July, is made up of Dirk Arweiler, and Christian Zanter, all of whom have many years of experience with Drees & Sommer. Arweiler, with 16 years of experience in the company and previous positions in finance and controlling, will oversee the infrastructure and site management sectors. Wottge, who has been responsible for the healthcare sector in Luxembourg for 10 years, will bring his expertise in project management and lean philosophy to bear on improving digital processes. Zanter, who has been in charge of the residential & urban development sector for 11 years, will continue to develop the housing and property sector, while closely monitoring public portfolios.

Present for over 20 years

Drees & Sommer, a leader in the consultancy, design and management of real estate, infrastructure and industrial projects, supports private and public project owners. Based in Stuttgart, the company has been present in Luxembourg for over 20 years and employs more than 110 staff. For the 2022 financial year, Drees & Sommer Luxembourg generated net sales of €16,928,536, but made a net loss of €901,609.
