With a menu that is constantly changing to showcase high-quality produce and delectable cuisine to please every palate, a visit to Brasserie O’ is always a fine idea.

Since 2019, Niederanven’s Brasserie O’ has been the destination for meat and fish lovers. The restaurant's appeal goes beyond its French cuisine, though, with both the à la carte menu and the set lunch featuring a wide range of vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

Updated with new dishes every week, the lunchtime set menu is a popular option. Choose whatever takes your fancy from two starters, three main courses and two desserts, including a cheese board. The bill depends on what you plump for: expect to pay €18 for a main course, €25 for a starter/main course or main course/dessert and €30 for all three courses.

The menu’s seasonal options range from buddha bowls in summer to fondue vigneronne (wine fondue) in the restaurant’s winter lodge. And let’s not forget Chef Michaël Poussevin's signature dishes: tuna tataki with sesame seeds, the ‘Burger O’ with homemade crispy fried onion sauce, the chicken quinoa burger and grilled octopus.

Once we were seated, we treated ourselves to a sharing board of cold meats and cheeses, a wonderful way to whet the appetite. The famed tuna tataki arrived cooked to perfection, light and delicious. Finishing on an indulgent note, we enjoyed the unexpected surprise of the chocolate globe with mascarpone and strawberry mousse and hot chocolate — a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds!

A stylish brasserie setting

Brasserie O’ is the perfect location for some tasty time out in restful, considered surroundings: wood furniture upholstered in leather or fabric, stone walls left bare or covered in plants, and plenty of natural light.

If the chandeliers and the huge photo of the Mullerthal waterfall make a memorable impression, so too does the gargantuan glass wine cellar that forms the dining room’s centrepiece.

The jewel in the crown of Brasserie O’ has to be its outdoor lounge area with retractable roof, at diners’ disposal throughout the day. Relax in the leafy surroundings with feature olive trees and palm trees, the ideal setting for sipping a cocktail mixed by barman Alexandre. Recipes include the renowned Viktorija’s Secret, made with dark rum, passion fruit, mint, raspberry and ginger ale. Brasserie O’ is shortly set to second-hand markets, another cheerful addition to what this wonderful eatery has to offer.
