The Festival Alimenterre, organised for the second year running, brought together over 400 people at Kinepolis for the screening of the film "Milked".

The Climate Pact ambassadors, including Marie-Béatrice Noble, organised a screening of the film "Milked" as part of the Alimenterre Festival organised by SOS Faim in conjunction with other NGOs and associations. More than 400 people were thus gathered at the Kinepolis.

The film shown on the evening of 12 November, one of a total of 55 screened during the festival, addressed the issue of intensive industrial milk production in New Zealand and its consequences. Consequences that impact not only on the environment, but also on the health and financial situation of small-scale farmers. "It also details a very interesting development that could in time completely overturn the milk production business model by exposing the progress made in the production of truly synthetic milk (without the intervention of livestock) and therefore without the negative consequences of unbridled and limitless industrial farming", says Marie-Béatrice Noble, a lawyer by profession, who is now using her expertise to support actions that advocate sustainability, respect for the environment and more responsible use of resources.

The evening to relive in pictures.
