1. Le Sacre. “La Ville en Feu” is a collective of twelve artists taking the public space by storm. Their street performance, which originated in the Théâtres de la Ville’s Talent Lab, sets off from the Théâtre des Capucins and winds its way through streets and squares (with performers using their heads, bodies and a cappella voices to reinterpret the classical repertoire as they interact with passers-by). A journey from the everyday to the cosmic – free of charge and no booking required.

2. “Une Rose plus rouge”. Christine Muller, a Luxembourgish director, draws on Liv Strömquist’s comic strip to challenge our narratives of love. Blurring the lines between performance and theatre, the production examines the invisible forms of violence in contemporary love (power dynamics, digital ghosts, paradoxical demands) through three performers and a language that hits the mark.

3. Berthe Brincour. This Thursday, the National Museum is opening the first major retrospective dedicated to this pioneering Luxembourgish painter, who remains largely unknown nearly 80 years after bequeathing her entire body of work to the State. Recent research and restoration work has brought to light an expressive and resolutely modern body of work (much of which has never been exhibited before). Free admission to the opening.

4. ‘Live Dream’. As part of the exhibition “Screentime/s”, Justine Emard and Jean-Emmanuel Rosnet capture participants’ brain activity in real time using electrodes, transforming it into a visual and auditory work. Dream narratives, electrical signals transformed into atmospheric sounds, and a brain-machine interface: this collective experience borders on a hypnotic state.

5. Culture Forest Festival. Clair-Chêne Park in Esch-sur-Alzette is being transformed into a festival venue for two evenings. On Friday, DJs from the LOA Academy will be taking to the decks; on Saturday, the stage will be set for concerts by local bands (rock, pop, indie, R&B) in a woodland setting, complete with food trucks and a chill-out area.

6. Sports Night. A night to (re)discover sport in a different way. Every year, dozens of towns and villages across the country open up their facilities to offer free taster sessions in a range of sometimes surprising sports (from padel to Krav Maga, and from dance to parkour) for people of all ages. A popular event organised by the National Youth Service.

7. Canopée Garden. The non-profit organisation Canopée is opening the doors to its permaculture garden in Pfaffenthal for a day featuring creative workshops, concerts and a children’s show. On the programme as part of the European ‘Rendez-vous aux jardins’ event: an introduction to the djembe, urban sketching, macro photography of insects, a sensory workshop on plants for the visually impaired, and the show ‘Akène’ (a dandelion seed setting off on an adventure) for the little ones.

8. Stroossemaart. The capital’s spring street market is back for two days. The Upper Town and the station district are completely closed to traffic, hundreds of traders set up their stalls, and the atmosphere is that of a giant car boot sale combined with a craft market.

9. “L’art de x Rotondes”. An open-air art-themed drinks reception followed by an indoor club night: this Saturday, Les Rotondes are hosting a two-part evening, from dusk till dawn. First up, live painting and live music outdoors, then DJs Shugi (from Lisbon), Lopaulso, Malo b2b Faber and Samwell will take over indoors.

10. «Arteries of Silk 1271.11». Walferdange's Galerie CAW opens a new painting exhibition this Thursday, inspired by the Silk Road. Artist Élise Comrie works through layering, abrasion and repetition to trace movement across distance. The project's distinctive touch: three fragrances, developed with a Parisian atelier from substances once carried along these routes (citron, sandalwood, saffron), accompany the paintings and extend the experience beyond the visible.

In Brussels
Wolxem 2026. This Saturday, 14 venues dedicated to contemporary art in the Volxem district (Forest) will open their doors with a programme of exhibitions, workshops and performances, from 11am to 6pm. Guided tours exploring the history and art scene of the neighbourhood are also on offer. Participants include: Wiels, Atoma Art Center, Rosas, Lee-Bauwens Gallery, Smog and several other galleries.

Bozar Rooftop. This Thursday, the Palais des Beaux-Arts rooftop opens for the summer, running until 20 September. The set design by Bento Architecture is entitled “L’Heure Bleue” (floating materials, light displays, central dance floor). For this opening weekend: house/minimal/techno with Casa Villani on Thursday, RnB with Private Feels on Friday, and on Saturday the launch party for “Badass” (techno night with W3 and Femmabass).

In Paris
Gianni Versace Retrospective. Over 400 original silhouettes and iconic objects have been brought together at the Musée Maillol for a major exhibition opening this Friday. Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Elton John, Tupac: these legendary looks are showcased in an exhibition design by Nathalie Crinière, featuring previously unseen archive material and photographs by Irving Penn, Helmut Newton and Richard Avedon.

Nuit Blanche. To mark its 25th anniversary, Nuit Blanche will transform Paris and its surrounding area into a huge artistic celebration on Saturday 6 June, curated by DJ and activist Barbara Butch (an edition dedicated to love, inclusion and community).
