In an ever-changing world of work, what skills will be most in demand?
Julien Bossu: “Companies will be looking for people who can adapt quickly to new methods and technologies. Mastery of digital tools will become essential, but interpersonal skills such as teamwork and communication will remain key. Finally, the ability to learn continuously will be an essential asset if we are to keep up with the pace of change.”
How do you see the impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on the skills needed in tomorrow’s businesses?
“AI and robotics will simplify repetitive tasks, but this will require new skills. Employees will have to learn how to use these tools to save time and concentrate on more strategic tasks. At the same time, human skills such as decision-making, team management and creativity will remain essential.”
If you had to define in one word or phrase what work will be like in 20 years’ time, what would you say?
“Flexible, connected and people-centred.”
