The Socipar group, which owns and operates service stations in Luxembourg, is joining forces with Bestcharge, the Petro-Center group’s ultra-fast charging brand, to strengthen the country’s electric mobility infrastructure. The aim is to offer users high-performance charging points at competitive rates. As part of this partnership, Bestcharge is making its backoffice available to Socipar so that the latter can manage its charging stations in the MBoost network.
The MBoost network already includes four 300KW charging points at the Total Energies station in Contern, six more at the Howald station, and will soon welcome eight new 300 and 400KW points at the Aral site in Friedhaf.
This alliance offers Bestcharge “an opportunity to anchor its leading position in the ultra-fast charging sector and further expand its network,” whilst “Socipar will be able to offer its customers immediate access to a high-performance infrastructure on the same terms, while rolling out the MBoost brand at its sites,” the statement said.
Petro-Center, the Luxembourg energy player and parent company of Bestcharge, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Its plans include some 400 ultra-fast charging points in its network by the end of 2025.
