Revolut surpassed 100,000 retail clients in Luxembourg, the neobank announced on 1 October 2025.

Revolut Bank UAB, the Lithuanian-licensed online bank, announced on 1 October 2025 that it had surpassed 100,000 retail customers in Luxembourg. The bank stated that it was the most downloaded finance application in the Grand Duchy in the third quarter of 2025, which it said positioned the company among the top tier of financial players in the market. Revolut added that it was targeting 200,000 users as its next milestone.

The bank said its expansion had steadily narrowed the gap with traditional banks in Luxembourg, pointing to a strategy that combines new product features, user experience and competitive pricing. Revolut stated that its marketing campaigns across the Benelux region had boosted brand recognition, while multi-currency accounts and low-cost international transfers had attracted clients from the Grand Duchy’s international community.

Nicolas Moalic, Head of Growth France and Benelux at Revolut, said: “Reaching 100,000 customers in Luxembourg is a fantastic achievement, and we see this milestone as a clear sign of the growing trust in Revolut for daily financial needs. Our goal is to build on this trust, and with a new target of 200,000 users on the horizon, we are committed to becoming the primary bank for an increasing number of people in the Grand Duchy.”

Founded in 2015 in the United Kingdom as a money transfer and exchange service, Revolut now operates as a licensed bank in several markets. The company claims more than 65m global users who make over 1bn transactions each month.
