De Feierwon, in Kirchberg
Nestled in the heart of the Sofitel, De Feierwon offers top-flight Luxembourgish cuisine masterfully prepared by the brigade of executive chef Yann Castano. We particularly like the care taken to source the products--in an ultra-short circuit. Special mention should be made of the Schankenmark, a local marrow bone--a real treat--or the very, very generous bouchée à la reine. We also love the refined, chic setting.

Um Dierfgen, in Luxembourg City
A safe bet. This brasserie in the capital’s city centre is a true classic of its kind, thanks to a menu packed with well-executed Luxembourg specialities. Our favourites include the iconic Feierstengszalot, the beef salad and the oven-roasted knuckle of ham, served with roast potatoes and sauerkraut. It’s a place to return to in the summer to benefit from its lovely terrace.

Juegdschlass, in Beggen
Located in the heart of the Bambësch forest, Juegdschlass is a very popular restaurant with families for its setting and facilities. It’s also one of the country's best restaurants for Luxembourgish cuisine, with, in particular, the unmissable Judd mat Gaardebounen, accompanied by pommes au lard. And don’t forget the fine selection of game when it’s in season, as it is at the moment!
400 Rue des Sept Arpents, Beggen
Brasserie Deluxe de l’Hôtel Leweck, in Lipperscheid
Here, Luxembourgish cuisine is revisited in a more contemporary style, without losing any of its essential flavours, such as poultry vol-au-vent or Luxembourg-style rabbit with its creamy mustard sauce. We particularly like the elegant setting and the drinks menu, full of Luxembourg wines and crémants.
Lëpschter-Delt, Lipperscheid
Sieweburen, in Luxembourg City
The restaurant at the Hotel Sieweburen is also a classic of its kind. You’ll love its menu, which is heavily influenced by Luxembourgish cuisine, cooked with the utmost simplicity but with elegance. We warmly recommend the Wainzossis, accompanied by its mustard sauce or the bouchée à la reine, a sure bet.
6 Rue du Fort Niedergruenewald (Kirchberg)
Beim Bertchen, in Wahlhausen
A very popular 100% Luxembourgish address where you can sample many of the country’s specialities. The breaded escalope is one of the classics, as is the cordon bleu. There is also a fine selection of grilled local meats.
