The 17th edition of Luxembourg’s Portes Ouvertes (Open Days) will take place on 16 and 17 September. It’s an opportunity to discover the expertise of 30 Luxembourg organisations, local authorities and industrial companies.

The is back for its 17th edition. On 16 and 17 September, the public will have the chance to go behind the scenes of 30 Luxembourg companies. That’s considerably more than in previous years. Among the companies that have agreed to welcome visitors for the weekend are Post Luxembourg, master quilter Stoll, RAK Porcelain Europe and Luxlait. “Luxembourg can do it” (”Dat ka Lëtzebuerg” in Luxembourgish) will be the theme of this 17th edition of Open Days.

A number of institutions will also be opening their doors to the public, including the Agence eSanté, the House of BioHealth, the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) and the Administration des services techniques de l’agriculture (Asta).

316,400 visitors in 16 years

“We often underestimate the wealth of talent that lies behind the Luxembourg economy. Portes Ouvertes Luxembourg offers companies of all sizes and from all economic sectors throughout the country an opportunity to showcase their activities, their knowhow and their staff. Every year, company directors and their employees are proud to show the general public what they can do,” says brain&more, the communications agency organising the event under the patronage of the ministry of economic affairs.

In the 16 previous editions, with the participation of 421 companies, organisations, local authorities and industrial firms, 316,400 visitors took part in the Open Days.
