It made its--mysterious--entrance at the Cloche d’Or: the Polestar 4, a dual-motor SUV, has some very special trump cards up its sleeve.

The rear window has been replaced by cameras and sensors. Beyond its gold paintwork and sleek lines, this was the first thing that caught the eye that day at the Polestar dealership in the Cloche d’Or. The panoramic roof extends all the way to the rear, offering a new experience for passengers, who benefit from a very comfortable space compared to many other models. Passengers are further pampered with a second media and climate control screen mounted between their seats. The brand continues to refine its ‘green’ image with more aluminium from Geely’s hydro-powered Hangzhou Bay plant, but also with the continuation of its mono-material approach to the interior, a bespoke knitted textile made from 100% recycled PET, as well as bio-attributed MicroTech vinyl and traced leather from Bridge of Weir. Polestar offers single- and dual-engine versions, a 200kW rear-wheel drive with a theoretical range of 620km and a 400kW all-wheel drive with a range of 590km (WLTP).

Polestar has launched the sale of its SUV coupé, in which the rear window has disappeared and been replaced by a camera linked to the dashboard. The result is more space in the rear. Photo: Polestar
