61. Marie-Hélène Massard
is an executive specialising in the insurance sector. A graduate of the École nationale de la statistique et de l’analyse de l'Information (ENSAI) and with a DESS in information systems and management control from the Institut de gestion de Rennes, she began her career with Axa in 1996. After holding a number of positions in France, Massard in 2008 joined the executive committee of Axa Poland, heading up marketing for central and eastern Europe, then the individual and SME markets. In 2012, she became CEO of Axa Luxembourg, then CEO of Axa Wealth Europe in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, she chaired the insurance association Aca. After a spell at Axa Banque France, Massard joined the Foyer Group in May 2024 as deputy CEO, gradually succeeding Marc Lauer. Active in professional associations, she is a member of the Chambre Française de Commerce et d’Industrie au Luxembourg (CFCI) and the Fédération des Femmes Cheffes d'Entreprise du Luxembourg (FFCEL).
62. Nicki Kayser
has been managing partner of the Luxembourg office of Linklaters LLP since 1 May 2022, succeeding Patrick Geortay. He joined the firm in 1997 and was made a partner in April 2006. Specialising in capital markets and banking law, Kayser advises on financing transactions, including debt issues, derivatives and structured finance. He is a member of the board of the Association luxembourgeoise des juristes de droit bancaire (ALJB) and sits on the capital markets committee of the Financial Sector Supervisory Commission (CSSF).
63. John Psaila
has been the managing partner of Deloitte Luxembourg since 2018. He began his career with Deloitte in 1995 as a junior and joined the Luxembourg office in 2001. Promoted to partner in 2008, he joined the executive committee in 2015 as head of reputation and risk. Re-elected in 2021 for a second four-year term, he oversees a team of 2,300 professionals. A native of Malta, Psaila is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Luxembourg Institute of Auditors.
64. Nasir Zubairi
has been CEO of Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (Lhoft) since 2016. With over 27 years of experience in financial services, he worked at ICAP, HSBC and RBS before turning to fintech in 2011. A graduate of the London School of Economics, he has founded several startups in payments and lending. A member of the boards of the British Chamber of Commerce and the British Luxembourg Society, he was made an Officer of the Luxembourg Order of Merit in 2022.
65. Gilles Dusemon
is a partner at Arendt & Medernach, where he specialises in alternative investment funds, particularly in private equity and infrastructure. A member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1997, he is co-chairman of the private equity and venture capital working group at the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (Alfi) and a founding member of the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA). Dusemon also sits on the legal committee of Invest Europe. Active in the structuring of cross-border funds, he plays a key role in the development of the sector in Luxembourg.
66. John Penning
has been CEO of Luxempart since 2020, having joined the company in 2017. He sits on the boards of Foyer Finance, Foyer SA and Atenor. A co-founder of Saphir Capital Partners in 2009, he previously worked as a senior manager in corporate finance at Deloitte Luxembourg. A graduate in political science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Penning holds a joint MBA from the Universities of Otago and North Carolina.
67. Max Leesch
Max Leesch is chairman and managing director of Cactus, the supermarket chain. He succeeded his father, Paul Leesch, in 2001, continuing the company’s expansion. Under his leadership, Cactus diversified its shop formats, notably with the introduction of Cactus Shoppi in 2008. In 2023, the company announced a partnership with CFL, leading to the opening of the first CFL Cactus Shoppi shop at Luxembourg Central Station.
68. Octavie Dexant
is a French executive specialising in the insurance sector. A graduate of Sciences-Po Paris in finance and strategy, she began her career at PWC France before joining Allianz France. In 2010, she joined Axa, holding various strategic positions, including director of special projects at Axa Partners and deputy managing director of the global partnership between Axa and ING. In January 2022, Dexant became CEO of Axa Luxembourg and Axa Wealth Europe. Vice-chairwoman of Aca since June 2022, she is also an active member of Sécurité Routière Luxembourg and IMS.
69. Serge Weyland
has been CEO of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (Alfi) since January 2024. With over 25 years of experience, he was previously CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (Luxembourg) from 2017 to 2023 and head of financial institutions at Bil from 2014 to 2017. He also headed regional coverage for Caceis Bank Luxembourg from 2010 to 2014. An expert in investment funds, Weyland co-chairs Alfi’s Digital Forum.
70. Francesca Prym
has been CEO and board member of UBS Asset Management (Europe) since February 2019. She joined UBS in 2016 as head of compliance and operational risk. Prior to that, she was head of risk at MDO Services (from 2008 to 2013) and managing director of SMBC Nikko Investment Fund Management (from 2013 to 2016). Prym also sits on the board of Alfi, actively contributing to the regulation and development of funds.
