Amsterdam-headquartered venture capital firm OTB Ventures is expanding its European presence with a new office in Luxembourg and is adding three senior professionals from Promus Ventures, the firm announced on 14 March 2025. The move is aimed at strengthening its position in deep tech venture capital and expanding its reach in the Benelux and France, the firm stated.
The Luxembourg office is led by Jeremy Teboul, Estelle Godard and Kateryna Lopatynska, all formerly with Promus Ventures. Teboul, previously a partner responsible for deploying the Orbital Ventures fund, is joining OTB in the same role. Godard, formerly a vice president, is continuing in that capacity, while Lopatynska, who managed operations and administration at Promus, is assuming similar responsibilities at OTB.
OTB stated that the new hires are reinforcing its expertise in early-stage investment, particularly in robotics, space technology, enterprise automation and artificial intelligence. The expansion will see OTB’s total workforce grow to 16. The Luxembourg team is expected to enhance deal flow and investment opportunities, particularly in deep tech sectors benefiting from institutional support and Luxembourg’s growing space industry. Managing over €350m, OTB is currently investing in companies such as Hydrosat and ICEYE and has successfully exited Minit and BabbleLabs through sales to Microsoft and Cisco, respectively.
OTB Ventures’ co-founders and managing partners, Adam Niewiński and Marcin Hejka, stated that the addition of Teboul, Godard, and Lopatynska strengthens OTB’s ability to support deep tech innovation across Europe. Teboul, speaking on behalf of the new joiners, highlighted Luxembourg’s emergence as a hub for deep tech and space technology and expressed enthusiasm for expanding OTB’s presence in the region.
