Here are two addresses that you should not miss if you enjoy a good oriental snack: the restaurant Les Frères, which sells without a doubt one of the best kebabs in the country, and the social project Chiche! which opened in the summer of 2020 and where you can enjoy excellent shawarmas. Sweet tooth

Aficionados of sweet treats will have no trouble satisfying their cravings in the centre of Esch-sur-Alzette thanks to a number of small artisanal addresses. One example would be the pretty shop of the young up-and-coming chocolatier Lola Valerius--where the pralines are to die for--or the concept store Simplicithé, which offers very tempting cupcakes (including their matcha tea speciality), but also bowls and "coconut soups" for an efficient and healthy breakfast.

Best of Belval

While Esch-sur-Alzette is a must-see, let's not forget that the HQ of Esch2022 is in Esch-Belval. All those "on the go" cravings should be able to be satisfied on the spot without too many problems. For lovers of good coffee and bacon fries there is the Dalmat Coffee House, while vegetarians can visit the Esch address of Beet, one of the local specialists in this field.

Not to forget T'Chiz which offers "flam's" and other home-made delicacies perfect for a gourmet "quick meal". We also recommend BiBim, a small Korean snack bar not far from there, still on the Constitution square. Finally, how can we not mention "the OG" Urban Belval, which remains one of the favourite meeting points of visitors for a good drink and a little snack before a concert or an exhibition.
