The press release is concise. On the evening of 8 October, Luxempart announced in six lines that one of its two co-directors, Olaf Kordes, was no longer with the firm. Kordes joined Luxempart in March 2020, taking over its operational management.
“Luxempart announces the departure by mutual consent of Olaf Kordes, one of its managing directors, for personal reasons,” says the press release. “Luxempart thanks Olaf Kordes for his great contribution to the group over the last years. He has been instrumental in implementing the group’s strategy and in developing our Direct Investments activity in France. We wish Olaf every success in his future endeavours.”
The departure leaves as the only co-director.
Five days before this announcement, Kordes posted vitriolic attacks against four government ministers online, referring by name to (DP), (LSAP), (LSAP) and (déi Greng) and accusing them of “refocusing on a slab of melting ice.”
