The buffet dinner and concert was a chance for the members to network in a small group. Alice Walpole was full of praise for the work the chamber does in promoting business ties between Luxembourg and the UK.
As its patron, she also welcomed Luxembourg-based choral octet, Intermedii, which performed an eclectic programme ranging from Thomas Tallin to musical numbers from Porgy and Bess and The Wizard of Oz via cheeky sea shanties and French chanson.
The eight singers from Luxembourg, the UK and USA, include former BCC chairman (and current vice-chairman) Chris Vigar, who introduced the group and, in the absence of current chairman John Johnston, thanked guests for attending.
