The government has unveiled the new members of the boards of directors at the country’s three public research centres: the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (List), the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (Liser) and the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH). The five year mandates start on 1 January 2025.
List
Charged with stimulating technological innovation, the List's new board of directors comprises the following members:

- Tom Battin, professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland (reappointment);
- , independent director, Malaga, Spain (reappointment);
- , director of human resources, public relations & CSR, Post Luxembourg, Luxembourg (new appointment);
-Etienne Jacqué, corporate R&D manager, CEBI International SA, Luxembourg (reappointment);
- Steve Kremer, research director at Inria Nancy Grand-Est et Loria (Université de Lorraine, CNRS), Nancy, France (reappointment);
- , CEO of Paul Wurth Geprolux SA, Luxembourg (new appointment);
- Danièle Waldmann-Diederich, professor at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany (new appointment);

Etienne Jacqué has been appointed board chairman and Isabelle Faber has been appointed vice chair.
Robert Kerger, advisor to the Ministry of Research and Higher Education, will continue as government commissioner to the List.

Specialising in the analysis of socio-economic challenges, Liser board will be comprised of:

Christiane Huberty, senior government advisor at the Ministry of Research and Higher Education, will continue to act as government commissioner for Liser.
LIH
The public biomedical research organisation focused on health is also seeing new figures fill its ranks:

- Xavier Poos, deputy administrative director, Health Department, Luxembourg (reappointment);
