Michael Janiszewski has been appointed the chief operating officer of Luxembourg-headquartered Alter Domus, and will also join the firm’s group executive board.

Alter Domus, a service provider for the alternative investment industry, announced in on 1 November that Michael Janiszewski had been named COO.

“We’re excited to combine Michael’s expansive background with Alter Domus’ industry leading private markets services platform,” said the firm’s CEO . “Our aligned vision of the future of alternative investment operations will accelerate the company’s client experience initiatives day-one.”

Janiszewski, who will also join Alter Domus’ group executive board, previously served as COO of BNY Mellon’s securities services and digital business in New York. Before that, he held the position of managing director, global head of investment services and chief digital officer at Invesco and was a partner at PwC.
