Mélanie de Jamblinne has been appointed deputy director of Luxembourg Art Week. She will work closely with Alex Reding, founder of the event, who is currently acting director.

The Luxembourg Art Week team has announced that Mélanie de Jamblinne has been appointed deputy director of the international fair, effective this September. Mélanie de Jamblinne joined the team a year ago, in September 2023, as programme and public relations manager. She subsequently also took charge of partnerships. As deputy director, she will be working closely with , the fair’s founder and current interim director, following the departure of Caroline Van Reden. Together, they will define the medium- and long-term strategy for the fair, which is celebrating its tenth edition this year.

Before joining the fair team, de Jamblinne worked for four years on the programming team for Esch2022, European Capital of Culture, alongside the Lët’z Arles team in exhibition coordination, and at Smets in the communications, marketing and events department. She has also been a board member of Lët’z Arles and Les Amis des Musées Luxembourg since 2018, where she co-founded the Young Friends of Museums programme.

Commenting on her appointment, , board member of Luxembourg Art Week, said, “We are delighted that Mélanie has agreed to take on this role. We have been very impressed by her skills and commitment since she joined the Luxembourg Art Week team, and the board looks forward to working with her on the 2024 edition and future editions.”

The next edition of takes place from 22 to 24 November and Paperjam is a partner of the event.
