The Regtech100 list of the world's most innovative regulatory technology companies in 2024 has been published. Of the 100 companies selected, three from Luxembourg were chosen: Cascade, I-Hub and Luxhub.

The Regtech100 list of top innovative regulatory technology companies, compiled by the research and media outfit Fintech Global, was released on 11 December 2024. The companies selected embody excellence in areas such as compliance, risk management, information security and the fight against financial crime.

Three Luxembourg regtech firms were featured on the Regtech100 list. Cascade stood out for its centralised software as a service (Saas) solution, which digitises anti-money laundering and know-your-customer processes and reduces reliance on traditional tools such as Excel. Deployed in 25 jurisdictions, the platform provides a real-time view of customer files and strengthens regulatory compliance through a risk-based approach. To achieve this, the group relies on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and simplify data management.

I-Hub offers a centralised solution that simplifies the onboarding and updating of customer files. By integrating advanced technologies such as optical character recognition (a process that converts a text image into a readable text format) and artificial intelligence, the platform reduces processing times while guaranteeing the confidentiality of information and meeting the strict due diligence and reporting requirements of financial institutions.
