Luxembourg-based 4i, a specialist in traceability and automatic identification solutions, has merged with the Belgian-Dutch group Dataction, an expert in the digitisation and automation of logistics flows, via one of its companies, Uodomuc. The alliance, orchestrated by Akcean, a Luxembourg firm specialising in mergers and acquisitions, aims to create the Benelux market leader in this field.
Based in Steinfort and employing around a dozen people, 4i is known for its cutting-edge technological solutions based on barcodes and radio frequency identification (RFID), used in a variety of sectors including healthcare, transport, industry, retail and postal services. By joining Dataction, 4i is strengthening its capacity for innovation and extending its offering to the Belgian and Dutch markets.
