The DEEP x OVHcloud sovereign cloud enhances the strategic autonomy of Luxembourg organisations by offering them robust guarantees in terms of resilience, interoperability, auditability and compliance.

Through this partnership, Luxembourg is reaffirming its role as an active player in European digital sovereignty.

The consortium DEEP, OVHcloud and Clever Cloud has been selected to provide the sovereign cloud for European institutions. Why is this a strong signal?

Cloud III is the European Commission’s first call for tenders to explicitly incorporate criteria relating to sovereignty, security and European resilience into the selection of cloud service providers.

The consortium comprising DEEP, OVHcloud and Clever Cloud, selected by the European Commission, has thus endorsed a 100% European sovereign cloud model.

It meets SEAL-3 level of the Cloud Sovereignty Framework, which is associated with the predominant use of European technologies and protection against lock-in by a non-European third party.

This score places the consortium among the most robust and reliable bids for meeting the needs of European institutions.
